Of expecting
When you’ll be let down,
Of being happy
When you know it’s momentary,
Of investing
Because time and feelings are exhausting,
Of dreaming
When you are broken,
Of judging
When you are morally corrupt,
Of smiling
When crying is comfort,
Of loving
When it’s not reciprocated,
Of time
When it’s misdirected,
Of having a heart
When you are dead inside,
Of living
When ending it is all you think of,
What’s the point really?
